PAN PIPE INSTRUCTIONS

A fine stream of air is aimed down onto one of the pipes. 
 
 The lips are not pursed but held in a flat tight smile with just a narrow stream of air escaping from the middle of the lips.  

The edge of the pipe should touch where the red and white of the lips join. 

To find the note keep varying the angle of the pipes.   Vary both the angle and the vertical positioning of the pipe against the chin and lips and do not purse your lips. Once you can blow one note nice and clearly you can start to practise the scale.
